Nobody in the UK can pronounce 'Oisín' and it's driving Irish people mad

Top Gear presenter Oisín Tymon’s name has been the source of great confusion for British media.

YESTERDAY, NEWS broke that Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson had been sacked by the BBC after a ‘fracas’ with a producer on the show.

The story was a leading news item for most of the day, but UK media had a lot of trouble with one key element – producer Oisín Tymon’s name.

Yes, everyone is trying and failing to pronounce the extremely Irish name ‘Oisín’. Here’s a Sky News reporter speaking about an ‘Oy-sin’:

The whole thing is driving Irish people round the bend.
